At JOINUS Restaurant Keyaki, authentic Japanese cuisine meets the excitement of live teppanyaki, creating a memorable dining experience for all the senses. Watch as our skilled chefs prepare each dish right before your eyes, while enjoying a wide selection of traditional Japanese favorites—including sushi, sashimi, tempura, shabu-shabu, and more—carefully prepared to preserve the true flavors of Japan.
Loved for many years by both Guam residents and visitors, Keyaki is especially popular during lunch, when guests often line up before opening. Our relaxing Japanese-modern interior offers teppanyaki counter seating, comfortable dining tables, and private rooms, making it an ideal setting for family meals, gatherings with friends, business dinners, and special celebrations. Owner and Executive Chef
Shinzo NAKAMURA
Executive Chef Shinzo Nakamura has played an important role in shaping Guam’s Japanese dining culture for several decades.
After beginning his culinary career in French cuisine at a hotel, he moved to Guam, where he dedicated himself not only to his craft but also to mentoring the island’s next generation of chefs.
Many of the culinary professionals he trained have gone on to lead the kitchens of some of Guam’s most respected restaurants, establishing Chef Nakamura as one of the pioneers of the island’s restaurant community.
Through his cuisine and long-standing involvement in cultural exchange, he continues to bring Japan and Guam closer together while contributing to the growth and diversity of Guam’s culinary scene.

With a spacious dining room offering 184 seats, JOINUS Restaurant Keyaki provides a comfortable setting for everything from casual meals to large celebrations. The restaurant features a lively teppanyaki counter area, where guests can enjoy exciting tableside cooking performances, as well as a relaxed table-seating area for savoring authentic Japanese cuisine at a leisurely pace.
We also offer two private dining rooms, each equipped with its own teppanyaki grill and accommodating up to 26 guests. These rooms are ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, company events, and private group celebrations.
